- Worldwide, only about 10% of developers are actively looking for a job. But 3/4 of us are interested in hearing about new opportunities. Hey there, I'm Ray Villalobos, senior staff author, and in this weekly series, we're going to explore the sort of code you need to know in order to be a successful developer. We'll focus on front end and full-stack developer code that potential employers are looking for. We're going to interview hiring managers who've hired hundreds of developers who will show you what the process is like as well as industry professionals who will share their experience navigating their careers. Even if you're not looking for a job, this series will help you stay sharp by going through practical exercises in about 10 minutes. There's a lot to learn, but that's why you're here. So let's get started.
