How to use the exercise files

- [Instructor] To get the most out of this course, I recommend you start writing JavaScript in your code editor and run it in your browser right away. To make that process as easy as possible, the course ships with exercise files for every movie that has a code example. You can follow along by downloading the exercise files to your computer. It does not matter where you store them. I have placed them in a folder on my desktop. Looking inside a folder, you'll see a series of folders and they're marked by chapter number and movie number. So for example, Chapter 4, movie number three has exercise files. Whenever you watch a movie that has exercise files, I will always start with my code editor navigated to the exercise files folder for that movie. So here you see I'm currently in movie 04_03. I also typically have my browser open, and the console open inside my browser. I'll explain more about this later. There's one important detail though. I've set up Atom to automatically update my browser any time I save a changed file inside the code editor. This is done using Atom Live Server, an extension you can get for Atom. So, if you don't have a code editor yet, I recommend you go to Atom.io and download the Atom Code Editor. Then, add the Atom Live Server extension, and learn how to use it. This'll make following along in the course much easier, and will also simplify the process of working with JavaScript later. Again, I'll explain all of this later, but if you're itching to get started, go get the exercise files from the course page, then go get Atom and set up Atom Live Server, and you're ready to go.
