- [Instructor] Head back to the iOS simulator and chose Erase All Content and Settings from the Hardware menu. Then click Erase. Once the simulator boots up, launch Safari, and then navigate to our PWA. That's localhost:8383. You can feel free to dismiss the instructions then touch the share button and Add to Home Screen. Then click Add and you'll see that iOS has added the app again. Click the Home button and then double tap the Home button to get the history list and dismiss Safari. I'll swipe back to the page where iOS loaded the PWA and then touch it and you'll see the splash screen. Woo-hoo! Okay, let's go home again and this time double click to get the history list. The splash screen is now associated with the icon stored in the history list. How cool is that? We've reached the limits of the implementation of PWA features on iOS. Looking ahead, Apple hasn't pledged to do much more than this. And there's a glaring problem, let me show you. Let's dismiss that and then fire up…
