So everything you see in this course will work in modern web browsers, like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and current versions of Internet Explorer and Edge, like Internet Explorer 9 or 10 and above. Also, we're not going to be talking about ECMAScript 6, or ECMAScript 2015 depending on what you like to call them, in this course. Some of those new features are being implemented in the current versions of shipping browsers, but they're not quite there yet. So we're going to leave those out and deal mostly with ECMAScript 5, which is what everybody has been using for years.
