Build a Public Transport App with jQuery

- Hello, I'm Mark Lassoff. Thanks for joining me. I'm really excited about today's project, the public transport app with JavaScript and jQuery. In this project, I'm going to provide you with all the code and instructions you need to build the app yourself. I'm also going to explain the code line by line, so you understand exactly what's going on under the hood. I'd recommend that you use the pause feature frequently while watching the videos. This will allow you to type, review, and edit code on screen. This project is appropriate for those who already know the fundamentals of JavaScript and are perhaps curious about the jQuery library. This project is also great for those learning JavaScript and jQuery, and want to see how all the individual pieces come together to form a functional application. I've broken the project down into several videos. In the next video, we're going to demo the functioning application. After that, I'm going to review the exact skills and libraries used to build the application. In subsequent videos, I'm going to dissect the application and explain exactly how each feature works.
