It is very common to use anonymous classes when programming Java GUI components, to react to things like button clicks, menu selections, and the like. This video shows you how anonymous classes work in our Swing application, and it also shows you how to optionally use lambda expressions (introduced in Java 8) to replace your anonymous classes.
