- [Instructor] In this Go clinic, we're going to attempt to tackle the problem of IP geolocation. Geolocation is vital in today's digital world, and it's used in many applications, such as maps, advertising, country-specific video streaming, and many others. In our solution, we'll write a program that takes the current IP address of our computer and passes this value to a web interface provided by a geolocation service provider.
Please note that if you're running this program within a corporate network, your public IP address may not match your current location. This is because you're accessing the internet through a private network and several layers of security, such as routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Our solution consists of two methods and a supporting JSON library which is included in your exercise files.
