Join Patrick Royal for an in-depth discussion in this video Solution overview, part of Code Clinic: Java.
- My solution to this code clinic consists of three methods,…a main method,…a parseCSV method,…and a modifyHTML method.…But before we look into the code for this solution,…let's start by running the application…and observing its functionality.…As it's currently set up, the graphic design file…has a template for the two tables…that will be created using CSV files,…but it doesn't have any content.…And so if we open it in a web browser,…it will not display those first two tables…and it will just start with the Third Semester table.…
However, if we run main.java, it will generate a new file…called new-graphic-design.htm.…You may need to refresh your Project Explorer…in order for it to display.…You can either right-click and choose Refresh or press F5.…If we open the new-graphic-design file in a web browser,…you can see that we now have the First Semester…and Second Semester tables created.…These tables contain data that has been extracted…from the CSV files that you are provided with.…
Now let's dig into the code for this solution…
Patrick introduces challenges and provide an overview of his solutions in Java. Challenges include topics such as statistical analysis, searching directories for images, and accessing peripheral devices.
Visit other courses in the series to see how to solve the exact same challenges in languages like C#, C++, PHP, Python, and Ruby.
