Viewing the project list

- [Instructor] Projects are containers for related JIRA issues. They help organize work. To see the projects list, click Projects in the top main nav. Then select View All Projects. This is the Projects page and the ones you have access to are displayed. Don't see a project you expected? It may be a permissions issue. Ask your JIRA or project administrator to give you access. Your organization may have a few projects or many. There's generally a project for each department or team. In the example, there's a JIRA project for the Customer Service department and the Human Resources department. You might have other projects for special use cases, as well. Remember I said you can use JIRA to track anything? In the example, there's a project called Employee Directory. This company tracks staff in JIRA instead of an external employee management system.
