Using basic search

- In the last section I showed how to enter an issue ID or phrase in Jira search bar, but what if you don't know the issue ID, or need to find multiple issues? What if you only know the issue was created yesterday, or the issue was created by your team member, or the issue was placed in the backlog last November? Jira's powerful search feature helps you wade through thousands of issues to find one or many. There are two search methods: basic and advanced. The first time you visit the search page, you'll see basic mode. Basic mode is a series of dropdown menus to help narrow a search. If you know what project the issue is in, click the project dropdown, and select it from the list. Let's search for the HR issue titled 'Create Onboarding Checklist' from our earlier example.
