- [Instructor] So this is what we have done so far.…We created Jira secruity groups and we assigned…a bunch of users to our agile fitness team group.…We created another used and assigned her…to the external consultants group.…We associated both groups with one or more permissions…in a permission scheme.…That permission scheme is shared by multiple projects,…so what happened here is that even though…the permissions were correct, just because…we have directly associated the two groups…with the same permission scheme, the same permissions apply…on both the projects,…which is not what we wanted to do here.…
We can fix this by making sure this permission scheme…is not shared by multiple projects, which means each project…has its own permission scheme…or we can use what are known as project roles.…When you think of project roles,…think about how roles are defined in different homes.…At my home, I have…two roles, family and friends.…People that belong to my family have access…to all the resources at my home.…
