Join Robert Anthony for an in-depth discussion in this video Creating a new workflow scheme, part of JIRA Software: Basic Administration.
- [Instructor] Sometimes it's a better…option to start a new workflow scheme from scratch.…This is especially true if you're…designing a scheme that's going to be…used simultaneously in multiple projects.…To do that, we're going to click…the administration cog, and then select issues.…On this page, under workflows on the left,…we're going to select workflow schemes.…This screen shows us all available workflow schemes.…Remember, expanding the inactive section…on the bottom will also display…any schemes not currently in use.…
We're going to go ahead and scroll back…up to the top, and click add workflow scheme.…We're going to name this one pizza…workflow scheme and then click add.…We now have the ability to edit…a workflow scheme from scratch.…Notice the default JIRA workflow…that's already assigned to this workflow scheme.…Workflow schemes cannot exist without at least…one workflow attached to them, so upon creation,…a generic workflow will always be provided.…
Click the add workflow drop down…and select add existing.…
