we're going to go ahead and test a deployment process. … In order to test the deployment process … we're first going to need to serve up a version … of our application running on a emulator. … So I'm going to go ahead and issue an iOS build. … So I will go to the terminal here. … So the command to do an iOS build would be ionic … cordova build ios. … So we can see that our build succeeded. … The next thing to do is go ahead … and open our project on Xcode. … So I'm just going to open visual studio code … and I'm going to open the platforms folder … and right-click reveal in finder … and inside of iOS project, … I'm just going to double-click my Xcode project. … Make sure that your MyApp.xcodeproject … is configured to open with Xcode by default. … If not, you can just use the open with menu. … So I'm just going to double-click this … and have Xcode run. … And now we can see Xcode runnnin' here. … So, next thing I will just do is use an iPhone XS … as my emulator … as this is one of the newest iPhones out there …
