Working with styles
- [Instructor] The geometry used in piping runs inside of Autodesk Inventor is based on styles. I can access existing tube and pipe runs by selecting it in the browser. Immediately, I'm greeted by a pull down list of the available styles in this design. This also exists at the run level as well as the rope level. At any point, I can enter a route, go to the manage panel and use the pull down menu to change what style defines this piping run. I'll select a different style, select finished route, and in a matter of seconds that same route is developed using a completely different style of pipe. You can also modify tubing and piping styles. By entering the library, you can select a tubing and piping style, remove it from the library if you don't believe you'll be using it. You can copy it to duplicate it so that you can quickly select between sizes of the same style. Or you can edit to make modifications to an existing style.
