Where are the simulation tools?
- Autodesk Inventor has several different simulation tools, but they're all kept in one space. In this video, we'll take a look at how to access those tools, and some of the fundamental elements that you'll see when you do. To access the simulation tools in Autodesk Inventor Professional simply find the Environments tab. In the Environments tab you'll see icons launching several different sub-environments to Autodesk Inventor. One of these is Stress Analysis. When you select Stress Analysis, it launches a temporary tab into the ribbon. This of course is highlighted in green so you know that this is a temporary environment, and that it is active. You'll see that a number of the options are presently grayed out because we haven't actually started a simulation. To start a simulation you would select the Create Simulation tool. However, before we do that I want to make note of a couple other items. One is the Guide. Launching the Guide will give you access to some different information…
