Using the ribbon bar

- [Voiceover] The next interface component we're going to look at is the ribbon bar. The ribbon bar can be found just above the browser, and it is Inventors main toolbar. If you've used Microsoft Office products, or even AutoCAD, or Autodesk Revit, then you're probably already familiar with the ribbon bar, and how it generally functions. Autodesk has essentially mirrored what Microsoft was doing to provide a similar level of familiarity with how these tools function, just to make things a little bit easier for people who are new to the product. The ribbon bar is made up of a couple of different items, along the top, you have the tabs, that, when you switch, will update the tools that are available. Below that, in each tab, you have panels, indicated by the separator lines and the labels, and their purpose is to gather items that are of similar nature. For example, under the "Pattern" panel, you have "pattern," "mirror," and "copy" which are all similar functionality. The other thing…
