Join Thom Tremblay for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the exercise files, part of Sheet Metal Design with Inventor.
If you're a Premium member of the Lynda.com Library, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this course. You can download the files from the Exercise Files button on the main page for this course. You'll find the exercise files within the Exercise Files folder. The movies in this course have exercise files that you can load up so you can follow along with the same project that I am working on. In Autodesk Inventor, we'll need to take the extra step of selecting the project file for this course.
All I do is go to the Get Started tab, select the Projects tool and browse to the location that you choose to use for your Exercise Files folder. Within the Exercise Files folder is the Sheet Metal Design project. We'll simply open this, make sure it's active and from that point on, any time I use Auto Desk Inventor, it will open the location of these files. If you do not have access to the exercise files, you can follow along and create your own files from scratch to use.
Okay, let's get started.
