Join John Helfen for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the Quick Access Toolbar, part of Autodesk Inventor 2019 Essential Training.
- [Instructor] Just above the ribbon bar…is the quick access toolbar.…It includes items such as the application menu,…the new button, open, save, undo and redo,…and other commonly used tools.…It's essentially taken what used to be a big open title bar…and allowed you to put useful tools there.…For example, open, save, undo and redo,…those are things that are pretty common.…But there are places in Inventor where it may beneficial…to move a specific command to the quick access toolbar.…
For example, if we look at the view tab,…on the far left in the visibility panel,…there's an object visibility button.…This allows you to quickly turn on and off…all the work features in the model.…This is something I do quite frequently and you might also.…If you wanted to add this tool to the quick access toolbar,…you can simply find it in the ribbon bar, right click,…and select add to quick access toolbar.…Now you can see that this menu is available…from the quick access toolbar,…even if we were to switch back to the assemble menu,…
