- [Instructor] In this chapter, we took an introductory look at iLogic and we learned how some of its tools can be used in order to automate configuration of designs. We started by looking at the actual interface and we created a simple rule inside of our part that automatically updated some of its parameters. We then also looked at how you can build rules not only at the part level, but also we looked at how you can create rules in the assembly. We also learned how we can create forms. We looked at the form builder, saw how all you have to do is drag and drop and we can create whatever type of form that we want. This gives our end user a much easier way to make the selections that they want, to configure the design according to the way they need the design to work. Then we learned how to control part parameters. We learned how to suppress and unsuppress features inside of the assembly. And we learned how we can basically control all of the automation from our master assembly file…
