Sketch pattern
- [Voiceover] We're now ready to begin looking at sketch patterns with an Inventor. You've always had the ability to create rectangular patterns, or pattern along a path, create circular patterns or mirrored patterns, and now you have the ability to control a pattern based on a sketch. On the screen, you can see I have the exercise file open and in the browser you'll notice we have a sketch already created called Sketch Pattern. All this is is a sketch I created with a few points in it that are completely undimensioned. Now you could add dimensions if you want, but I wanted to show some of the flexibility here so I left them undimensioned. Let's go ahead and start by creating a new sketch on that face. We're now creating essentially a profile that we can use to create a feature. Before we do that, I'm gonna project one of those points, this one in the lower left, to the sketch so that we can create a circle on it.
