Routed systems overview
- [Male Voiceover] The routed system's piping environment can be accessed from the environments tab inside of Autodesk Inventor. If you don't already have a tubing pipe run, you can begin one by selecting the tubing pipe icon in the begin panel. Tubing pipe runs are a collection of runs and beneath them, routes. You can have multiple routes per run. You can also include multiple runs per collection of tubing pipe runs. This is a great way to organize the structure of your design and to make sure that routes that are interrelated can be modified and kept together. To edit an existing run, you can activate the tubing pipe runs environment with a double-click in the browser, activate an individual run, or make modifications to the route directly by activating the individual route. You will see this workflow used in other movies inside of this course.
