- [Instructor] Now that you've been introduced to Assembly's, let's take a minute and look at how we can begin creating our own Assembly's. On the screen, I have a blank Assembly file. If you don't have one, go ahead and open one now. And the first step in creating an Assembly, is to place a component. Again, an Assembly is a wrapper, so you're just putting something inside this wrapper. And, in this case, we're going to place our first part. There's a couple of ways to do that. We could go to the Assemble tab, on the ribbon bar, under the Component panel, and select Place. Or we can right click in the graphics window, and find it here at the top of the right click menu as well. We'll go ahead and use that. We'll left click to launch the command. And what we get is, essentially, a view into our hard drive. Earlier in the course, when I was talking about light, and I was talking about that you could pull standard parts out of a bucket.
