Pattern and mirror sketch geometry

- [Instructor] We're now ready to look at how we can pattern and mirror sketch geometry. On the screen I have Pattern Mirror Start.ipt open, that we can use to test out each of these items. If you don't have this open, go ahead and open the exercise file, and double-click on the sketch in the browser to edit it. Now we have specific set-ups here. The one on the left is for a circular pattern, the one in the middle is a rectangular pattern, and the one on the right is a mirror. We're going to start with a circular pattern, so we'll go ahead and zoom in on the circle. To create a pattern, you can go to the sketch tab under the pattern panel, and in this case we're going to use the circular pattern. When you click that, the dialogue box is presented, and there's a couple of things that you should notice. First, the geometry option is selected, and it's red. And just next to that, there's a red icon with the axis. Red in a dialogue box in Inventor indicates that Inventor needs an input…
