- [Instructor] This lesson is the second of two on the Part Modeling Certification Objectives. In this lesson, we'll create different types of hole features. We'll create revolute features or revolve features. We'll create work features to represent geometry that doesn't physically exist in the model. And, we'll create a pattern of features. At first we want to focus on the outer gear. So, I'll select it either in the browser or in the screen and activate it. I'll zoom in and create a New Sketch. I'll use the Origin Planes to select the XZ Plane. Then I'll use the Project Cut Edges tool to gather up all the geometry that intersects the sketch plane. For clarity, I'll select that geometry and change it to construction geometry so it's not noticed by three-dimensional tools. I'll start the Circle tool and I'll grab the edge and put in a three millimeter circle. To get a closer view, I'll add a Dimension to locate that circle six millimeters down from the top of the outer gear. With my…
