Overview of the user interface

- [Lecturer] This objective will focus on the user interface of Autodesk Inventor. We'll navigate the interface using the ViewCube and other tools. We'll also set the environment to help customize the look and feel of Inventor. And we'll see how we can manage what views are displayed, and how to look at the model. To access the user interface in Autodesk Inventor, I'll open a model. I'll navigate to chapter three and open the assembly. Once the assembly is open, I'll see the various elements of the interface. From the application bar across the top where I have my New, Open, Save, Undo, Redo, my controls for material and appearance, and the access to help tools. Immediately below that is the ribbon. The ribbon is the primary collection of tools within Autodesk Inventor, and it's organized in tabs, and each tab has a series of panels that collect like tools. On the left is the browser.
