Overview of iAssembly configurations

- [Narrator] In this video, we're going to take an introductory look at iAssemblies. And we're going to see how we can leverage those to create multiple configurations of an assembly where we might want to offer many different types of options. Now, here you can see that with the data set we'll be using, we wanna create different configurations of how many steps they have, how narrow or wide is the step ladder, how tall is it. So we have a lot of different types of variations on this step ladder that we want to offer the end user, and iAssemblies is going to enable us to do that. Now, just like iParts, we start with what's called, a factory. And the factory file is the .iam file that has the table and that let's us define which parts we want to include, the size of the part that we want to include, and let's us record all of the different options that we want for each specific member that we create, like you can see on the right.
