- Inventor has many pre-existing lighting styles that allow users to view parts and assemblies in a variety of lighting conditions. When we looking at the Rendering dialog box you're going to see that there's a drop-down for lighting styles and there's a long list of different styles. So for example, let's just take the Current View lighting style that you see and we'll select Render. And that's going to give us an image similar to what we've been seeing so far in the pass. You see some shadowing and, you know, and various different effects from those lights. If we close that and go back to the Render Image dialog box you'll notice that we can pick from a long list of different lights and these have dramatic effects on it. We'll just pick a couple of these so we can look at some of the differences here, so we'll just go down to maybe Desktop lighting.
