- [Instructor] Now that you know how to launch the Measure command and set input filters, let's go ahead and take some measurements. If you don't already have the command enabled, go ahead and right click in the Graphics window and select Measure. Because the filters are remembered from previous steps, make sure you have Select Faces and Edges selected. Then we can rotate the model to the side and zoom in so that we can take some measurements. I'm going to start by selecting the face on the side of this model, and you'll notice that the measure window updates with information about what has been selected. Here you can see Selection one is a Face and Perimeter and Area are presented as the measurement for that face. At any point during the Measurement command, you can click anywhere other than on a model in the Graphics window to clear your selections.
