Introduction to generative design
- [Instructor] In this video we're going to take a brief introductory look at how we can create generative designs using iLogic. Now to do this we're going to first show just a couple of things that we have set up inside of our model. If we look at our parameters I've created a Number_Of_Steps and we've given the option of two, three, or four. We've given just a Lower_Step_Height and then a Delta_Step_Height. So if our Lower_Step_Height is 10 and we have four steps there would be 10, 18, 26, and 34. So that's basically how we have this set up. And then I want to show in our step assembly right here, notice that we have Center Flush 1, a Height Offset 1, and a Front Frame 1. And those are the constraints that we are basically going to be copying in our code so that what happens is the code will first delete out all of the steps and then it will place as many steps as we want where we want them to be.
