Insert constraint
- [Voiceover] On the screen you can see the assembly file that I created when we started to learn about mates and flushes. We're going to use that same assembly again but this time when we put this part together we're going to use a different type of constraint. One that's a little more efficient in this case, and that's the insert constraint. Let's go ahead and right click on the graphics window and select constraint. We'll go ahead and select insert from the type list and you can see the solutions are updated. The thing that I want to call out here though is these solutions, if you look closely, look very similar to mate and flush solutions. In this one, the arrows are facing away from each other and in this one, they are facing towards each other or aligned. We also have to select two different components. To do this, let's zoom in and we're going to select the edge of the shaft and we're going to select the edge of the circle we want to insert the shaft into. By doing that, what…
