Harness settings
- [Instructor] As with most of the professional tools inside of AutoDesk Inventor, harnesses are controlled by styles or settings. To access the settings for the wire harness, I'll double-click on the harness to activate it, right-click, and select harness settings from the context menu. This will bring up a dialogue with multiple tabs. Each one of the tabs contains different values or different options you could use to establish how your harness will work as it's being created, and how you can modify it later. On the general tab, we'll see several different options. You can have the harness length adjusted to round up to nearest half, quarter, or eight of an inch. We can defer updates if you have an exceptionally large harness, a large assembly, or a computer that has minimal performance. Deferring the updates of a harness as you make modifications in the assembly can save you a lot of time. You can also have it actively check the bend radius. Once we've established the bend radius…
