Editing the member of a run
- [Instructor] You might find that there are times where the run needs to be manufactured in a way that's outside of the style's definition. For these cases, there's no need to create a new style. You can simply make modifications to the members of the run without affecting the style itself. Here, I'll activate my tube & pipe environment and activate my run. I'll then switch my browser over to the Content Center and navigate into the Content Center area where I can find my elbows under my tube & pipe fittings, find the appropriate elbow that I need, drag it onto the screen, enter the size information based on the style that I'm using, click OK, and then take my new elbow and hover over the existing elbow. When I click, it will not only replace the existing elbow, it will remove the phalanges, the weld gaps, and the gaskets that were also there. With that placed, I can right-click and select Continue from the Context menu, and place another elbow if I should need to. When I'm done…
