Creating work axes and points

- We can now look at how to create work axes and work points. If you haven't watched the Work Planes video yet, I recommend you do that now because we do cover a lot of the selection capabilities, and they function in the same way. Just like Work Plane, Work Axis and Work Point can be found in the 3D Model tab under the Work Features panel here in the ribbon bar. Each of the options Axis and Point also have a drop down arrow next to them that exposes all the other options you have available to you when creating each of these types of work features. The first option like Work Plane is an option that's unique compared to the rest. It will not limit the types of selections that you can make when you're creating an axis. However, if you select one of the items below that for example On Line or Edge, what you'll end up finding is that Inventor will limit the type of selection so that you can't pick faces or points, but instead only a line or an edge.
