Creating rectangles and arcs

- We're now ready to explore how to create rectangles and arcs. But rather than simply start with a blank screen and just create the shapes in order to explain it, I figured we'd start moving towards building geometry that means something. In this case, we're gonna create the body of this generic mouse shape. Now, we won't finish everything, but rather than just drawing random shapes, putting it into context, I think, will start moving you along faster as a new learner. I also have a new part open here, on the bottom. I have Part1. If you don't, go ahead and start a new part file, and we'll begin. We're gonna start by creating a new sketch, and we can do that by right-clicking on the graphics window and selecting New Sketch, or from the 3D Model tab, select the Sketch Panel, Start 2D Sketch. I'm gonna use the Marking menu. By starting a new sketch, the origin geometry is presented, and I'm gonna select the XY Plane to sketch on. This will allow me to sketch the side view of the mouse.…
