Creating a base form

- [Voiceover] Now that you've seen an introduction on how T-splines work and what they're capable of, let's take a minute to create our initial box form that we can then manipulate into the shape of a more ergonomic or complex shaped mouse. We've already learned how to create a mouse using archs and splines. This will allow us to move to the next level. We can create a much more complex shape with very minimal work in order to create our mouse. To begin, we need to create our initial form, and we can do that by going to the 3D Model tab and finding the Box command in the Create Form panel. If we click the drop-down below Box, you can see the other primitive shapes that are available. You have Plain, Cylinder, Sphere, Torus, and Quadball. But since we're gonna make a mouse shape, we're gonna start with the initial box. This will allow us to look at some of the Settings as well.
