- [Instructor] Now let's look at how we can create our own project file. This won't be the project file for the course, with the exercise files, instead, let's go ahead and create a project that you can use for practice files. When you're not working on the course you're going to want to practice. So let's create a project that allows you to store those files in a separate location from your exercise files. As mentioned earlier, in the dashboard you can't create or delete projects. In order to do that you need to go to the Getting Started tab under the Launch panel and select Projects. To create the new project, simply begin by clicking the New button at the bottom of the dialog box. This will bring up the Inventor project wizard. The first step is to select the type of project you're going to create. Depending on the settings you used during install, you may not see this New Vault Project option. That's fine.
