Create breakout views
- [Voiceover] We're now going to look at how we can modify a View to create a Break Out. On the screen, you can see a drawing I created for this exercise called Engine - Break Out.idw. In order to create a Break Out View, you need to go to the Modify panel and select Break Out. This will allow you to select a View you want to modify. I'm going to select this View by left-clicking on it and you'll see we get an error. And I did that on purpose. I want to show you this error just so, that in case you run into it, you can understand what's going on. Because this View is a little different than one of the Views we've created so far. In that, it needs you to create a sketch outside of the drawing creation process, in order to define the boundary for the Break Out. You can see here it says, This view does not contain a sketch with a closed profile. When we click OK, we exit the dialogue box and we need to actually go create a sketch in the drawing that'll define our boundary. To do this, we…
