- [Instructor] On the screen, you can see the drawing file we're going to use for this exercise Engine Block Baseline.idw. On it, we have three different views that are identical. The reason for this is because in this movie, we're going to look at baseline, ordinate, and chain dimensions, and they all function in very similar fashions, so I wanted to just explore them in the three different views, one at a time. Let's go ahead and zoom in on the view on the bottom left and let's go ahead and return to the annotate tab. Here in the dimension panel, you can see baseline, ordinate, and chain dimensions. We'll start with baseline. Once you're in the baseline command, all you have to do is simply select the pieces of geometry that you want to dimension, right click in the graphics window and select continue. What this does is very quickly creates dimensions, organize dimensions, and stacks them all so that you can place them all in a single action. By left clicking, you locate the…
