- Now that you have an understanding of how to create some basic dimensions and drawings, let's take a moments and look at how we can change the precision of those dimensions. On the screen you can see EngineBlockPercision.idw That I've created to work with. And this is really just a version of what we created in the previous movie. Let's go ahead and zoom in on the view in the upper left. You can middle mouse button pan and then zoom with our scroll wheel to zoom in on that view Now you'll notice we have a couple of dimensions here and we have both of these at a two decimal precision, 1.20 and .85. Now there's a few ways we can change precision, depending on your needs, let me show you a few different ways, we'll start with a 1.20.
