Animate components

- [Voiceover] Animate Component is used to animate unconstrained parts or assemblies. If we zoom in to the top of our sub, we're going to see that we have a hatch handle as well as a hatch. This hatch handle has the ability to rotate right now, so it is not fully constrained and has some degrees of freedom of motion left. The hatch itself, you'll see, is totally constrained. That's fully constrained. So when we want to animate components, if they're constrained like this hatch is, we can not use the Animate Components. That's the number one thing that people make a mistake with. If you want to use Animate Component, it has to be able to freely move in at least one direction. So this hatch handle at the top here is something we can actually use the Animate Component for. Now, I'm going to go back into inventors Studio and the reason that I'm not in Inventors Studio already is because if you're in Inventors Studio, you don't have the ability to check and see if these things have degrees…
