Adding materials to parts in an assembly

- Now that you know how to create assemblies, let's take a moment to look at how we can improve their look by applying materials and appearances. On the screen you can see an assembly I created for this course that we've used throughout it to see different aspects of Inventor. And in this model, I have applied materials and appearances so that you can clearly see the different components and you can see what they're made of in certain cases. In order to explore this, I've also created Engine - Blank Slate.iam. This is an assembly that has all the materials and appearances removed. And we're gonna use it to learn how we can apply those, and give you some time so that you can play around and explore with the different colors and appearances that are available. We're going to start by left-clicking on the HeatSink here on the graphics window. And if you notice, in the Quick Access toolbar, there are a couple drop-down menus that are available to us.
