Learn how to control trails that are created when components are tweaked (or moved) to provide clear instructions on exactly where parts are located within the assembly. Toggle trails on or off quickly at the part level or select individual segments of the trail to change independently from the larger group.
- [Voiceover] Now that we've tweaked a few components,…let's take a moment to look at how we can adjust the…trails for those tweaked components.…Remember, we first started with the screws on the backside…of the nosecone,…so let's go ahead and rotate so we can see those.…We're gonna rotate around to the backside and just…position the model in the middle of the graphics window.…Now, just to refresh,…let's go ahead and play on the timeline,…and you'll see all three screws are…pulled out of the nosecone,…the bottom two drop down,…and all three move to the left.…You may have noticed that there's blue trails…following those components.…
Let's go ahead and jump to the end of the storyboard,…and you can see the screws in their final position,…and now you can clearly see the trails.…So, the very first thing you may choose to do,…and we mentioned this in the last movie…when we were looking at the heads-up display,…is turn off the trails completely.…So, when you're tweaking a component,…there is an option to say no trails at all.…
