Add concentric holes
- [Instructor] We're now to the point of the course where we've learned how to create sketch geometry. We've used sketch geometry to create 3d features. And now we're ready to look at placed features. Earlier in the course I mentioned that there was two different types of features both sketched and placed. Sketch features are driven by a specific sketch and placed features don't require a sketch but instead require something like a face or an edge on the model. On the screen, you can see, Holes Complete.ipt. And we'll be working on adding each of these types of holes to this model throughout the next several movies. What we see here is on the flat face we have linear holes. On the circular face up top we have concentric hole, and if we rotate around to the back, we have a threaded hole. We're going to look at each of those as we move forward. To begin, we need to open Concentric Holes Start.ipt, that's the starting file…
