Review deliverables
- The real power of an iterative process centers on efficient and productive reviews of deliverables. Throughout the process, there will be many opportunities for the team to review certain deliverables: interaction prototypes, media prototypes, project plan, content grids, design proof, alpha, beta, and gold. Each of these review moments requires a strategy to generate the greatest return. And effective review requires more than giving the team access to the deliverable. An unstructured review will most likely cause the team to: one, provide feedback that is beyond the scope of the deliverable; two, offer ineffective or unhelpful comments; three, leave team members with questions about their role in this phase of the process; and four, delay the process. To reduce the potential risk associated with an unstructured review, create a strategy and share it with your team.
