Overview of SAM

- How much easier would your job be if you had a clear pathway to success? Some road you could follow that would guarantee great results. Well it exists, and you can start using it today, right now. That's SAM, the Successive Approximation Model. The SAM process is divided into three phases, each containing deliverable milestones. Preparation phase, iterative design phase, and iterative development phase. Each phase has the purpose of moving a learning project towards completion by defining treatments, challenging the design for appropriateness, and building the final deliverable. At first glance, this process may imply a linear workflow, similar to that when using a conventional approach. However the work within each phase is iterative, and supports the transition from definition to design, through development.
