Instagram differs from other social media services in that there's no way to share other people's posts on your own feed, but it does allow you to share content on other services like Facebook and Twitter. This video explains the method and the etiquette of sharing other people's content.
- [Instructor] While browsing through your Instagram feed, … you'll most likely come across photos by others … that you like that you want to remember, … or that you just want to be able to easily find again. … Now, we know you can tap the heart icon … to like any photo, but that's more to let the person … posting the photo know that you've liked it. … And, we know that you can go into settings … to see all the photos that you've liked, … but sometimes you'll probably just want a way … to keep a collection of photos you want to remember … without necessarily letting the person who posted it … know that you've saved it. … You can then see the photos you've saved … at any time by going to your profile page, … tap the menu at the top, and here tap Saved. … And here, under All Posts, you can see … I have some photos saved here already. … And again, you're the only one who can see … the posts that you've saved. … Not even the person who's post it is … gets any indication that you've saved it. …
