Working with component roads: Part 1

Let's have a closer look at component roads,…and what we can do with those.…So, from the home position,…I'd like you to go to "Bookmark 3",…marked "Component Roads",…and it'll take you into our site.…If you scroll around,…and just zoom in a little bit,…grab the road in front of you,…and you'll see that this is already a component road.…We can tell this because of the type of information,…and attributes that are available in the stack.…

Now, component roads are assemblies of different parts.…So, for example, this one that we're looking over here,…We can see, if we click on the left hand side,…We have a sidewalk,…we have the type of material that it's made out of,…we have the geometry of it.…Then, the next component of the road…would be another piece of sidewalk,…but with a different material.…And, then, we would have a curb,…then our lanes made of blacktop or concrete,…whatever it is.…Then, we would have the same on the other side of the road,…but it doesn't have to be the same.…
