- Adjusting sudden sky settings can add a lot of realism to our model. Let's open up Visualization.sqlite model under Exercise Files > 10_Visualization. Let's zoom in, and tilt the model slightly so we can see the sky. There we are. Now under display, we can choose sun and sky, or hit control-7 to toggle. So I hit control-7, on and off. The first thing we could do is adjust the time of day. As we adjust the time of day, you can see the various shadows that appear from morning to night. So if I set it in afternoon, you can see the shadows appearing. Now the shadows are also altered by the date, so depending on the time of year, the shadows can be very long, or very short as we move throughout the year. So by tweaking the date and time, we can adjust the shadows and the color of the sky. We can also adjust the wind.
