- [Instructor] Creating preliminary conceptual roundabout design for roads and highway projects can easily be performed by using component roads. In the last exercise we learned how to use the intersection tools and modify intersections along component roads. In this exercise we're going to learn how to create roundabouts at a point of intersection. So, here if I zoom into this component road, at the intersection point, if I click it, within the stack, under Junction Type, here you see an icon for an intersection, but if you click it one more time, there's another option for Roundabout. So I'll change this. Roundabout. And notice here, immediately updates the model with the current default roundabout design. So, under standards, as you can see, there's a small pull-down with various types of roundabouts. We have mini roundabouts, which is more like a traffic circle.
