- In this video, we're going to create a road right of way on an existing component road. Let's open up the Road Right of Way sqlite file found under Exercise Files, Road Design. We're actually going to draw a brand new component road. So click create, transportation, and pick on component road. We'll draw a short road starting in the middle of this lot, and we'll just curve it up towards the north crossing street. Double-click to finish, and the new component road should appear. Lets zoom in to our component road. I'll hit escape so you can see. It's a very simple, two-lane road, and you can already see the grading automatically created for that component road. As you can see on the side, there's grading on either side to level off that road. Now we can create a right of way. If we go under transportation, pick right of way, in the stack you can see some of the settings. Now we can create a road offset, parallel…
